We had the mobile hairdresser here today, my girls being very high maintenance, not only did they get a new hairstyle but they even got a brazillian !

Mums Cherub lamp.

I stumbled across these pics of the lamp I made for mums birthday last year. The gorgeous vintage cherub base was an eBay find, the shade , well I cant remember where that came from ( I have a closet full..lol). The black and gold fabric was from the USA..
It took me hours to hand stitch the fabric to the frame, I like to do it the old fashioned way, I do use glue to attach the braid though.. It turned out beautifully.
